Importing parts from states

Anyone have any luck importing parts for states without excessive shipping fees, I was taking to someone in baxter about a company in missauga, so there is a us address, they bring it over, then you pick it up,,sometimes parts are dealer protected and that is tough up here, Chris

Just doing mail order
OEM from Rocky Mtn atv/mc and Motosport.
Sometimes it shows unable to send but them Motosport site shoes ok.
FED EX still better than UPS for fees I find.

I haven't done anything since before Covid, but CrossBorder Pickups is what that guy was talking about. I've personally never used them, but I have heard from friends that have that it is a seamless transaction. I always used usaddressinc.com, but you have to drive across and pick up your packages yourself. Then when you cross back over, it was always hit or miss if the border guards would make you go in and pay the taxes and fees. Whenever I've used the national post services, it was also hit or miss on whether or not you'd have to pay extra fees/taxes. But the one that I outright refuse to order from and use is UPS. I've emailed companies before that used them to ask if they would us the post service instead, and some places would.
