Simcoe County Forest Trails are available for use!

Trails are available for use in accordance with COVID-19 public health measures posted here. It is your personal responsibility to stay current and in full compliance with the COVID-19 public health measures in relation to all riding activities and travel restrictions that may limit your ability to journey to certain riding areas. The Ontario STAY-AT-HOME ORDER Regulations are available here.

Please use extra caution if riding the trails, since they could be blocked by debris and dead-fall accumulated over the winter. This is especially true this year as some of our normal spring maintenance activities have been delayed. Be prepared to stop at a moment's notice!

To ride in the Simcoe County forests you have to be  a 2021 OFTR Member (sticker on upper left fork leg), your bike must be plated (green plate on front of bike or blue plate on rear), insured, and quiet (<94db).

Picked up a trials bike

Totally new to this type of riding and yet figured it's good start to improve skills.
Just wondering if there is an informal group going out or if someone would like to
start/have interest in such a group?

I’m interested. Hopefully ata and sovt can get some events going soon.

Now I'm on the hunt for a place to practice.

Looking for people to ride with. I’m located in west wasaga beach. After next warm up, snow should be gone.

I also picked one up last year, and found it helped my low speed trail skills... but clearly didn't ride it enough!

I had high hopes on making some features at my place to play/practice on... and... nope! maybe this year??

Please keep in mind that your pretty much limited to private property for riding... County Forest is a no-no!
