Check out the review above, some interesting observations:

"We have tested both the KTM and Husky 300cc 2020 models and we have found the same result, they are NOT as responsive from stock form....they need some work and most of the time that means spending a bit to a lot more money to get the bike to respond the way the BETA 300RR does right from the crate. Where we mostly noticed the lack of responsiveness from the orange and white bikes was when you wanted to do a quick blip of the throttle. To do a controlled launch through an obstacle.....the bikes both just kinda died right there and we could not launch them without really coming onto the throttle and then the result would be an uncontrolled launch which resulted in more rider fatigue to control the bike.....our bike was just easier to ride with less effort....like a jack rabbit able to blip and double blip off anything all while keeping complete control of the machine.

No disputing the KTM and Husky bikes are good.....but they are more expensive to own and thats the bottom line."

Have a read, then stop by Maxxim to see these Italian beauties in person, we have a few 2019s left at great clearance prices, new 2020s coming in weekly.

Interesting how they prefer the carb over fi. I would think the fi would have been better

I've had similar observations from numerous people who have tried both. When we did the demos at the Cord last fall, we were consistently told that people preferred the Beta over other brands they were demoing, liked the performance and power delivery much better, found it smoother, more responsive, etc.
